Keeping You Warm
Expert Air Source Heat Pump Engineers in London for Efficient, Low Carbon Heating
From Small Repairs
To Design
We can turn your house into a warm and cosy home with up to date underfloor heating systems. These can be installed in one of two different ways - either using an electric base, or using water. This will effectively turn your entire floor into a radiator, which can replace traditional wall units meaning greater flexibility for the design and layout of your property.
As these systems warm the room from the ground up it places less demand on your boiler than traditional wall mounted radiators, which can in turn reduce energy bills. Underfloor heating tends to operate at a lower temperature of 40°C (than a traditional radiator system of 65°C).
If you require underfloor heating please feel free to contact us and we'd be happy to pop over for a free no obligation survey, happy to answer any questions you may have.
What Are
Air Source Heat Pumps?
Heat from the air outside is taken in at a low temperature and turned into a fluid. This then passes through a compressor (such as illustrated adjacent) which in turn increases the temperature. This is then transferred to the heating and hot water in the home in the form of a higher temperature.
There are two popular types of Air Source Heat Pumps - one is air to water and the other is air to air.
The main difference between ASHP's and traditional gas/oil boilers is that the pumps distribute heat over longer periods of time. This means your home could benefit from fitting underfloor heating or large radiators to make full use of the energy.
